Golden Miller holds the unique distinction of winning the Gold Cup an impressive five times, achieving this remarkable feat consecutively from 1932 to 1936. Arkle, often celebrated as the greatest National Hunt horse in history, triumphed in the Gold Cup three times between 1964 and 1966. Kauto Star, a two-time victor, made history as the only horse to reclaim the Gold Cup, securing wins in 2007 and 2009 after being defeated by his stablemate Denman in 2008.
