2023 Aintree Bowl Entries
Clan Des Obeaux has won the last two renewals of the Aintree Bowl and sits prominently in the market for this year's renewal. Topping the market is Nicky Henderson's Shishkin, who'll step up in trip for the first time following a runner-up finish in the Ryanair Chase.
Conflated lost out by a length to Clan Des Obeaux last year and Gordon Elliott's star returns to Aintree on the back of third-place finish in the Gold Cup. A Plus Tard was pulled up after meeting trouble at Cheltenham and Henry De Bromhead's former Gold Cup winner looks set for a maiden outing at Aintree.
Ahoy Senor has landed Grade Ones at the past two Grand National Festivals and he could line up in the Bowl this year. As could Envoi Allen, who claimed his third Cheltenham Festival victory in the Ryanair last time out.
Other possible runners include Dan Skelton's Protektorat and fellow Gold Cup runners Sounds Russian, Eldorado Allen and Royal Pagaille.
