The only Group One race staged on day two at Royal Ascot is the Prince Of Wales's Stakes. This lucrative contest was first held at the Royal meeting in 1862 and a classy field will assemble for this year's renewal.

Let's take a look through the latest Prince Of Wales's Stakes betting and run through the headline entries.

2023 Prince Of Wales's Stakes Entries

Following an impressive gallop at Newmarket, Desert Crown has been cut into favouritism for the 2023 Prince Of Wales's Stakes. Last year's Derby winner was beaten by Hukum on his reappearance in the Brigadier Gerard Stakes, but punters have been keen to back Sir Michael Stoute's star on the back of that solid reappearance.

Sitting second behind Desert Crown in the betting is Aidan O'Brien's Luxembourg, who made all to win the Tattersalls Gold Cup last time out. Another former Epsom Derby winner, 2021 winner Adayar sits prominently in the market, ahead of Desert Crown's stablemate Bay Bridge.

William Haggas holds two entries, with My Prospero and Dubai Honour both likely to take their chance at Royal Ascot. Luxembourg could be joined in the field by Point Lonsdale, with French raider Simca Mille pencilled in to make the trip to Berkshire later this month.

Other possible Royal Ascot runners include John and Thady Gosden's filly Nashwa, Joseph O'Brien's Above The Curve and David Simcock's Light Infantry.
