The third and final Group One on day one of Royal Ascot is the St James's Palace Stakes. Three-year-olds will be under the spotlight in this eight-furlong Group One and the form lines from three Classic could be drawn together in this year's contest.

The winners of both the British and Irish 2000 Guineas could clash in the final Group One on Tuesday at Royal Ascot. Newmarket champion, Chaldean currently leads the way in the betting, ahead of Aidan O'Brien's winner at the Curragh, Paddington.

In contrast, Charlie Hills could give unbeaten Cicero's Gift his first outing in pattern company at Royal Ascot. French 2000 Guineas runner-up and Fred Darling winner, Isaac Shelby sits prominently in the market, alongside John and Thady Gosden's impressive York winner Mostabshir.

Royal Scotsman will bid to bounce back following a disappointing ninth-place effort in the Irish 2000 Guineas. The runner-up that day, Cairo could also represent Aidan O'Brien, with Karl Burke and Amo Racing likely to unleash Craven winner Indestructible.
