Echoes In Rain - Ascot Gold Cup
She's improving all the time and I think she definitely deserves a crack at the Gold Cup. I really do think she'll run a good race. She's been training very well for it and she's learning how to settle.
Burning Victory ran a cracker in the race for us last year and I suppose Echoes In Rain would be a similar type of filly given she won a Grade 1 over hurdles as well. I do think the extended trip will suit Echoes In Rain and her win at Punchestown at the end of the jumps season was as impressive as she's ever been.
To win any race at Royal Ascot is special, but to win a Ascot Gold Cup would be extra special. If she was placed it would be fantastic. I'd be delighted if she could finish in the first four.
Vauban & Absurde - Copper Horse Stakes
Vauban is in good shape and I'm happy with him. I think there's every chance he'll improve as a Flat horse and I'm looking forward to seeing how he gets on.
Absurde could run in the Copper Horse Stakes. He's a nice horse who came to us from France and won nicely over hurdles at Killarney. He's been in very good form since.
Bring On The Night & Scaramanga - Ascot Stakes
When you see what Coltrane has gone and done it just shows you how well he ran in the race last year. We think we have him back to that sort of form now and we're very happy with him. If he's in that sort of form again, it would give him a great chance.
It's touch and go whether Scaramanga gets into the Ascot Stakes but, if he does, he will run too.
Stratum - Queen Alexandra Stakes
Stratum is very well. He had one prep run last year before Ascot and we've gone with a similar plan this year. He's a year older, but he likes the track and the trip at Ascot and the conditions of the race certainly suit him.
