Chad Brown's unbeaten four-year-old, Goodnight Olive tops the betting here, ahead of defending Breeders' Cup champion Ce Ce. Billy Mott throws two talented mares into the mix in Obligatory and Frank's Rockette, with Steve Asmussen running the lightly-raced Echo Zulu, who bolted up in the Juvenile Fillies 12 months ago.

Given how competitive this race is, I'm going to have an each-way poke with Asmussen's second-string WICKED HALO. Tyler Gaffalione's mount comes into this race on the back of four straight wins, producing a career-best effort to win a Grade Two over this course-and-distance last time out. Wicked Halo is still on the upgrade and a rapid early pace will suit this powerful closer.

Highfield Princess and Creative Force bring high-level European form to the table. However, this race is all about Wesley Ward's explosive sprinter GOLDEN PAL, who could grab an uncontested lead if he breaks quickly from stall eight.

Ward's star has never put his best foot forward on his travels, finishing well down the field in last year's Nunthorpe and the Kings Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot this year. On home soil, however, Golden Pal has been totally dominant, winning all eight of his starts in stakes races.

Irad Ortiz Jnr's mount is four-from-four over this trip at Keeneland and looked as good as ever when winning his prep race in the Woodford Stakes. No-one could peg Golden Pal back at Del Mar 12 months ago and he could be allowed to dominate this race from the front once again.

Race 3 - Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile Tips

Bob Baffert has clearly had some problems keeping LAUREL RIVER fit. When we have seen this four-year-old son of Into Mischief on the track, he's looked extremely impressive.

Laurel River comfortably won a claimer on his reappearance before bolting up in the Grade Two Pat O'Brien Stakes back down over seven furlongs. Cody's Wish could be suited by the pace set-up on Saturday and I like the angle of dropping Cyberknife back down in trip, but there's clearly plenty more to come from Laurel River and he'll be my selection in another competitive contest.

Race 4 - Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf Tips

While I respect home contenders In Italian and Rougir, the European form is clearly a level or two above what we've seen on turf in North America and I'm expecting NASHWA to get the job done this weekend.

Nashwa won the Prix de Diane at Chantilly before following up with a peerless performance in the Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. John and Thady Gosden's three-year-old then ran a blinder from a wide draw when second in the Prix de l'Opera on Arc day at Longchamp - finishing ahead of Above The Curve and Tuesday in the process.

The team has always said that Nashwa is at her best on quicker ground and that's exactly what she'll face on Saturday. Hollie Doyle's mount will be incredibly hard to beat.

Jackie's Warrior brings some of the best form to the table here and you can see why Joel Rosario's mount is clear at the head of the market. Steve Asmussen's four-year-old could only finish sixth in this race 12 months ago, despite going off at 1/2, and comes into this contest on the back of a shock defeat to Cody's Wish over seven furlongs at Saratoga.

I'm inclined to take the hot-favourite on and I'm going to take a chance on O BESOS at a crazy price.

Gregory Foley's four-year-old placed third behind Hot Rod Charlie in the Louisianna Derby last season and even managed to place fourth in a Kentucky Derby. O Besos was dropped back to six furlongs for the first time since debut at last time out at Churchill Downs and he won with a little left up his sleeve. Clearly a high-class operator, O Besos could be a serious challenger for the places, despite his current price of 50/1.

Race 6 - Breeders' Cup Mile Tips

Despite everything Kinross has achieved in recent weeks, eight furlongs on quick ground wouldn't be his ideal race conditions. MODERN GAMES, on the other hand, is a proven Breeders' Cup winner and he can back up last year's victory in the Juvenile Turf.

Since that win at Del Mar, Charlie Appleby's star has registered several impressive performances. Modern Games bolted up in the French 2000 Guineas and proved his aptitude for North American racing with a runaway success in the Woodbine Mile. William Buick's mount finished on the tail of Baaeed in the Sussex Stakes back in August and was last seen placing a close second in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes to Bayside Boy, who would have been better suited by the soft ground at Ascot that day.
Modern Games is clearly the most likely winner. That being said, I simply can't leave POGO alone at his current price of 20/1. Charlie Hills' six-year-old has run huge race after huge race this season and claimed a deserved victory in a Grade Two at Newmarket last time out. James Doyle mount loves quick ground and being drawn along the rail in stall one will suit his preferred front-running tactics.

Race 7 - Breeders' Cup Distaff Tips

Malathaat, Clairiere and Search Results have butted heads on a number of occasions this season and the three are very tightly matched. They, and the rest of the field, will have to raise their games considerably to beat NEST, who should be an odds-on favourite.

Todd Pletcher's star thrashed Secret Oath by 12 lengths in the Kentucky Oaks and comfortably beat that same rival when backing up in the Alabama Stakes. Irad Ortiz Jnr's mount limbered up for the Breeders' Cup with a ten-length triumph in a Grade Two at Belmont. If Nest maintains the form she's shown throughout the season, she should claim her fourth Group One win of the season.

Race 8 - Breeders' Cup Turf Tips

With a string of wins next to his name coming into the race and a kind draw in stall five, REBEL'S ROMANCE is, for me, the one they all have to beat.

Race 9 - Breeders' Cup Classic Tips

Flightline could simply be unstoppable in this year's Breeders' Cup Classic. The only horse who could conceivably cause the upset is EPICENTER and Joel Rosario's mount holds the greatest appeal at the current prices.
