ITV Racing Tips on August 30th - Sunday's tips for Beverley and Goodwood

Sunday's Tips
For the second time this weekend, the ITV Racing team will pitch up at Goodwood, ready to capture the best of the action on Prestige Stakes day. Along with a handful of races from the Sussex venue, Sunday's viewers will enjoy a couple of strong races from Beverley, including the popular Beverley Bullet Sprint.
I'm away this weekend, so I'm getting my selections in nice and early. Here are my best betting tips for Sunday's ITV races.

ITV Racing Tips - Sunday 30th August
1:25pm Goodwood - Maiden Stakes Tips
Sea The Stars colt who holds an entry in the Royal Lodge Stakes. FLIGHT TRACKER (9/4) almost made a winning debut at Sandown three weeks ago, where he was touched off by another well-bred newcomer of Charlie Appleby's.
Ralph Beckett hasn't had the best season, but it's no coincidence that he's had three winners and seven placed runners since the rain arrived three days ago. His horses love juicy ground, and this lad is bred to handle such conditions.
1:40pm Beverley - Silver Cup Handicap Tips
TIGER (11/2) comes into the Silver Cup on the back of three excellent efforts, and Ian Williams' charge can keep that good form going on Sunday.
Having gone close over a mile and a half at Doncaster in June, Tiger bolted up in a Class 4 handicap at Chester, claiming his first victory for Williams by an impressive five-length margin. Tiger was then fancied to follow up at Ayr six days later, but bumped into hardy course regular Pol Roger, who made the most of a reduced mark to claim an overdue victory.
That was still a solid effort from Paul Mulrennan's mount, who clearly does his best work on softer ground. Williams will be pleased with his draw in stall six. Tiger should go well again.
2:00pm Goodwood - Virgin Bet Handicap Tips
Hamad Al Jehani landed two of the big handicaps during Glorious Goodwood, and REAL GAIN (17/2) has every chance of challenging in this open contest on Sunday.
Third in the Golden Mile over this course and distance last season, Real Gain returned to action in April with a solid fourth-place effort behind the progressive Mister Winston at Newmarket. Al Jehani stepped his six-year-old up to nine furlongs at the Glorious meeting, and Real Gain ran really well for a long way under James Doyle, only to get outpaced in the closing stages and relegated to eighth.
Softer ground has always been to Real Gain's liking, so conditions should be much more suitable on Sunday. Cheekpieces go on for the first time, and Harry Vigours comes in to take five pounds off this dangerous handicapper's back.

3:10pm Goodwood - Prestige Fillies' Stakes Tips
Aperoll is favourite to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Precise, who went on to claim multiple Group Ones and a Classic following her victory in this Group Three. Richard Hannon's favourite snatched a narrow victory in the Star Stakes over market rival Bayside View. Being by Bayside Boy, I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Bell's filly was able to reverse that form on softer ground.
LIGHT OF DAWN (6/1) handled soft ground well when making a winning debut at Carlisle in June. Karl Burke's filly then ran a mighty race to finish third in the Albany Stakes just two weeks later, crossing the line just two lengths adrift of Libertango and Sun Goddess.
James Doyle's mount was a little too keen when third on her most recent start in the Prix de Cabourg. The winner that day, Kosuma, has since finished third in the Prix Morny, and the second ran well in the Lowther, so that form looks pretty strong too. That Royal Ascot effort is probably the best single piece of form on offer here, and Light Of Dawn seems ready for this step up to seven furlongs.
