The November Meeting begins at Cheltenham on Friday and ITV Racing fans have got four contests to sink their teeth into. The Grade Two Hyde Novices' Hurdle and Arkle Trial will be played out at Prestbury Park, along with a Cross Country handicap and a strong two-mile handicap chase.

Here are my best ITV Racing tips at Cheltenham on Friday.

1:45pm Cheltenham - Mucking Brilliant Paddy Power Handicap Chase Tips

Having backed Notlongtillmay for Saturday's Paddy Power Gold Cup, I'm eager for either TRIPLE TRADE (11/2) or Guy to give the form of his reappearance race a boost. I backed Guy that day, but was a little disappointed with his finishing effort and won't be going in again off a one-pound lower mark.

Like Notlongtillmay, Triple Trade found himself outpaced on good ground at the Showcase Meeting, but made powerful late in-roads to finish a two-length second behind Dancing On My Own. Slower ground should ensure the pace of Friday's race is much more manageable and Joe Tizzard's seven-year-old was only upped a pound for that excellent reappearance run.

2:20pm Cheltenham - Arkle Trial Novices' Chase Tips

With just four fairly modest runners in the field, this is less of a trial for the Arkle than it is a sighter for possible Grand Annual types. JPR One and Mighty Tom top the market, with chasing debutante Petit Tonnerre rounding off the market.

I was very impressed with HOMME PUBLIC'S (5/1) first run over fences at Wetherby last month. Henry Brooke's mount won nicely under 12-00, turning away a five-time winner over fences, 135-rated Geromino on the short run to the line. Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero are a training duo on a steep upward trajectory and this looks like an ideal opportunity for them to celebrate their first Graded winner.

2:55pm Cheltenham - Cross Country Handicap Chase Tips

Delta Work is up against it at the weights. Rob James takes a hugely valuable seven pounds off Galvin's back, but I'm happy to let him win at his current price. Back On The Lash has to be in with a chance, as does former hunter chaser Latenightpass, who'll be having his first start under rules for Dan Skelton.

DIESEL D'ALLIER (12/1) boasts an excellent record in Cross Country Handicaps here at Cheltenham, having won here for Emmanuel Clayeux and his current trainer, Richard Bandey. Diesel D'Allier only ran twice last season, having suffered a setback in the autumn. The fact that Harry Bannister's mount has already been out this term, finishing fourth in a novice hurdle, has to be seen as a plus and soft ground will certainly suit this course specialist.
