Jamie Osbourne's Wales And The West team won the inaugural Racing League in 2022, but were pipped to the post by Kevin Blake's Ireland in 2023. With his daughter, Saffie leading his line, Osbourne's team made up for that narrow defeat in 2024, with Wales And The West winning their second title by almost 100 points.
There's been a managerial shake-up ahead of the 2025 Racing League. Kevin Blake will no longer manage team Ireland, but he's been replaced by ITV Racing regular Mick Fitzgerald. Charlie Fellowes takes over from Chris Hughes as the leader of The East, with racing broadcaster Alex Steedman replacing Linda Perratt as the boss of team Scotland.
Jamie Osbourne has strengthened defending two-time defending champions, Wales And The West with the addition of top jockey David Egan and the talented Sean D Bowen. Leonna Mayor, meanwhile, has added Rossa Ryan, Silvestre De Sousa and Joanna Mason to her squad of jockeys for team Yorkshire.
Sean Levey will now captain Matt Chapman's London & The South, with Kieran Shoemark moving to The East. Cieren Fallon, Clifford Lee and Danny Tudhope will represent Ireland in 2025. Oisin Murphy, Hollie Doyle and Jamie Spencer will not be riding in this year's Racing League.
