2025 Grand National Entries - Ireland
Irish horses made up 65% of the initial entries 12 months ago. That percentage has dropped below 50% this year, but given the ratings of the respective horses, it's still highly likely that the vast majority of the confirmed runners will be coming from Ireland.
Defending champion, I Am Maximus remains the bookies' favourite to claim back-to-back wins. Willie Mullins' holds nine other entries, including Minella Cocooner, Appreciate It and Nick Rockett. Gordon Elliott, meanwhile, accounts for 16 entries, with Three Card Brag, Delta Work, Galvin and Gerri Colombe headlining his squad.
Despite claiming before Christmas that he was too inexperienced for the Grand National, Gavin Cromwell has entered Inothewayurthinkin, along with Stumptown, Limerick Lace, and Yeah Man. Henry De Bromhead could run Minella Indo, Envoi Allen, and Monty's Star. Other notable Irish entrants include former King George winner Hewick, multiple Grade One winner Fakir D'Oudairies, and Irish Grand National winner Intense Raffles.

2025 Grand National Entries - Britain
38 British horses have been entered in the 2025 Grand National. That's five more than 12 months ago, so hopefully we'll get a few more than seven home runners featuring in the final 34-horse field.
Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero's Iroko is the highest-placed home runners in the betting. Paul Nicholls had entered five of his best chasers, including Coral Gold Cup winner Kandoo Kid, King George hero Bravemansgame, and former Grade One winner Stay Away Fay.
Mister Coffey, Chantry House, Hyland and Fantastic Lady could fly the flag for Nicky Henderson. Broadway Boy and Beauport could doubly represent Nigel Twiston-Davies. Venetia Williams has entered Gold Cup entrants L'Homme Presse and Royale Pagaille. Mr Vango, King Turgeon, Shakem Up'Arry and Monbeg Genius.
Two French horses were also entered in this year's Grand National. David Cottin handed entries to Grade Two winner Motu Fareone, and former David Pipe recruit, Placenet.
