2025 Liverpool Hurdle Entries
Teahupoo's quest for a second Stayer's Hurdle was thwarted last month by Bob Olinger, who picked off the defending champion to record an impressive success. Gordon Elliott has handed his star an entry at Aintree and the bookmakers list Teahupoo as the early 3/1 favourite.
Willie Mullins has entered the lightly-raced Kitzbuhel here, as well as the Aintree Hurdle on day one. Home By The Lee could represent Joseph O'Brien following his unfortunate unseat at Cheltenham. Stayers' Hurdle third, The Wallpark is another possible runner for Gordon Elliott.
Strong Leader ran out an impressive winner of this Grade One 12 months ago, but will have to bounce back after two poor efforts in the Long Walk and the Cleeve Hurdle. Hiddenvalley Lake has only run once since a runner-up finish in the Long Walk, and he looks likely to represent Henry De Bromhead.
Jimmy Du Seuil could step up in trip, having won the Coral Cup on his seasonal reappearance. Buddy One looks set for another Grade One outing. Jetara looks set to represent Jessica Harrington and owner Gerry McGrath.
Harry Cobden has been confirmed in the saddle of former Pertemps Final winner Monmiral. Gwennie May Boy will represent Harry and Dan Skelton. Other potential runners on Grand National day include Harry Fry's Altobello, Dasher Drasher for Jeremy Scott, and Maximillian for Donald McCain and the Owners Group.
