Two Listed races will be run at Naas on July 22nd
Tropical Crown is tipped as a value bet in the Marwell Stakes
Yellowstone Lake favored each-way in the Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF Stakes

Talented sprinters will take to the track at Naas tomorrow, with quality fields confirmed for both the Marwell Stakes and the Yeomanstown Stud Stakes.

Here are our best betting tips for Wednesday's feature races.

Listed Tips - Saturday 22nd July

6:30pm Naas - Marwell Stakes Tips

Concorde Landed looked like an excellent prospect when scoring here at Naas on debut, and Paddy Twomey holds this daughter of Sioux Nation in high regard. That being said, any runner that Karl Burke sends over to Ireland has to be respected, so TROPICAL CROWN (10/1) could be worth chancing at 10s.

Despite Burke's excellent record in the race, Pierre-Louis Jamin's mount was weak in the betting going into her maiden at Beverley. Tropical Crown looked green and a little awkward at times, but dragged herself to the front with a furlong to travel and saw it out well to win by almost three lengths.

Tropical Crown's drift that day suggested that the stable thought she might need her first run of the season, so the fact that she was able to win so comfortably is very encouraging. Burke's stable are coming back into form, and a wide draw is usually preferable on the sprint course here at Naas.

7:00pm Naas - Yeomanstown Stud Irish EBF Stakes Tips

Karl Burke and Pierre-Louis Jamin team up in our second Listed race too, where favourite Soul Love brings the best form to the table. At the prices, I'll take an each-way chance on the lightly-raced YELLOWSTONE LAKE (12/1).

Paddy Twomey's filly was only beaten a neck on her career debut at Leopardstown last July, losing out to Fairy Oak, who had run well at Royal Ascot the previous month. Yellowstone Lake then finished fourth behind future Group One winner Diamond Necklace at the Curragh, before scoring at Dundalk on her final juvenile start in September.

Yellowstone Lake has only run once so far this season, finishing sixth in the Kooyonga Stakes over a mile at Navan last month. Billy Lee's mount was very slowly away that day and didn't seem to see out the trip, but travelled well to get back into the race. This drop back down to a sprint distance should suit, and cheek-pieces go on to try and help her concentrate coming out of the stalls. There's plenty of ability in Yellowstone Lake's locker. She just needs to show her true colours.
