Wednesday's Tips
Chepstow's loss is Ffos Las' gain, as the Welsh venue has inherited a quality series of chase races now set to take place on Wednesday. Punchestown will also stage a strong card tomorrow, feature two Graded contests over fences.
Here are our best betting tips for the big races taking place on Wednesday.

Just four runners will contest this Listed novices' chase, and Tutti Quanti is the overwhelming favourite. With ground conditions in Wales likely to remain on the good side of good-to-soft, this race presents TAMARIND BAY (9/2) with an opportunity to claim a valuable prize.
Having failed to win in 15 starts over hurdles and in bumpers, Tamarind Bay has won three of his five outings over fences. Mickey Bowen's six-year-old romped to 16-length victories at Stratford and Uttoxeter before a cosy victory over the equally in-form Thickthorn Tom at Bangor in February. James Bowen's mount unseated his rider when travelling well at Perth in August and lost nothing in defeat when beaten at that same venue by Spectacularsunrise, who was getting almost a stone at the weights.
As the other three runners in this contest will be making their chasing debuts following absences of around 200 days, Tamarind Bay could use his race fitness and experience to his advantage. 9/2 seems like a nice price.
4:05pm Ffos Las - Native River Handicap Chase Tips
Nine have been confirmed for the valuable Native River Handicap, and BEN SOLO (3/1) is very hard to knock.
Rebecca Curtis' seven-year-old did most of his racing as a novice over fences at Chepstow, winning nicely in November before a couple of unfortunate defeats. Brian Hughes' mount missed the break badly and was pulled up fairly quickly in the Novices' Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, but returned to Chepstow to produce a fine effort in defeat to Blow Your Wad at the beginning of April.
There's still plenty of wiggle room left in Ben Solo's mark, and this step up to three miles seems like it will suit. He's a point-to-point winner over this trip, after all, and Sean Bowen's mount underwent wind surgery over the summer.

Gordon Elliott has been firing in plenty of winners over the past couple of months. He has a good record in this contest too, so I'm happy to take CHANCEAWETMORNING (11/4) over the market-leading Bunting.
Chanceawetmorning was busy over hurdles during the summer, winning at Roscommon before a series of defeats at the summer festivals. Danny Gilligan's mount fell heavily at the final fence on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan in early September, but made no mistake when opening his account at Sligo two weeks ago.
With Jack Kennedy basically unmoved in the saddle, Chanceawetmorning tracked the leader throughout before forging clear on the long run to the line. The track here at Punchestown should suit, and I can't see this drop back in distance causing Elliott's six-year-old any problems.

GORGEOUS TOM (4/6) should then make light work of the task at hand as he steps back into Graded company.
Henry de Bromhead campaigned his eight-year-old at the highest level as a novice before trying to target some valuable handicaps last term. Gorgeous Tom finished a distant fourth in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury and even managed to complete the Grand National course, finishing 42 lengths adrift of I Am Maximus.
Darragh O'Keeffe's mount ran a blinder in the Galway Plate over the summer, staying on gamely to finish just over a length behind King Alexander in third. I do like Apple's Of Bresil, but he's shown nothing to suggest that he can match that level of form over fences, and Croke Park completely lost his way last season. Gorgeous Tom is unopposable here.
