Rhine Handicap Tips (Race 3)
Happy Valley Favourite - Race 3 No. 1 Withallmyfaith
Withallmyfaith is a deserving market leader here, although the gelding is still chasing his first Hong Kong victory after completing a hat-trick in New Zealand prior to being sold.
This is comfortably his easiest Hong Kong assignment, with the gelding dropping back to Class 4 level after a string of competitive Class 3 efforts, which includes two placings in April and his May 9 attempt.
He was brave after covering ground throughout in that Sha Tin effort and Zac Purton jumping aboard is a major positive, with the champion hoop often at his most dangerous aboard class droppers.
Prestige Ricky could provide stiff competition after carrying 2kg less from his second-up assignment, where he likely goes close with a kinder draw.
He now gets that softer alley in gate two and both runs this campaign suggest a victory is looming, while he is also off a winnable mark.
The Sauternes's Cup Tips (Race 5)
Happy Valley Best Bet - Race 5 No. 2 Armor Golden Eagle
The Zac Purton and Mark Newnham combination is striking at almost 30% this season and the Australian pairing reunites with Armor Golden Eagle on Wednesday night.
The son of Ace High bolted in over this track, trip and grade on April 29 before completing a tick-over trial since that victory.
Although there is a penalty for the latest success, Armor Golden Eagle still appears fairly treated given the ease of that recent win.
While it came in weaker company before returning to Class 3 level, the gelding also carried 2kg more when saluting on March 18.
His only Happy Valley defeat came two starts ago when held up and in restricted room at key stages, while Armor Golden Eagle brings comfortably the best last-start rating into this field.
Ciron Handicap Tips (Race 6)
Happy Valley Value Bet - Race 6 No. 3 Tourbillon Golfer
This Ricky Yiu-trained galloper has only finished outside the placings twice in this grade and both recent defeats can be forgiven.
Dropping back to 1000m worked against the four-year-old at Sha Tin on April 19, although there was still plenty of merit in the effort after finding traffic from off the speed.
Tourbillon Golfer then tired late on the Sha Tin All-Weather surface at his latest appearance.
His best prior efforts have mainly come at Happy Valley, including three Class 3 placings this season, which is stronger than what is on offer here.
The gelding also saluted second-up in similar company in November when carrying the same 60kg impost and is expected to push forward early under Ethan Brown.
Seine Handicap Tips (Race 9)
Happy Valley Next Best Bet - Race 9 No. 11 Robot Lucky Star
Andrea Atzeni has been a profitable rider to follow throughout 2026 and stays aboard Robot Lucky Star after the gelding’s April 19 return at Sha Tin.
Atzeni felt the son of Hellbent was underdone there and, as a result, the lightly raced galloper has completed two encouraging May trials, winning the first of those at Happy Valley.
There is still plenty of upside with Robot Lucky Star, who won second-up in October before suffering bad luck in two subsequent Happy Valley placings.
The gelding covered ground throughout one of those defeats before spotting the field a start in a muddling-run race next time.
The market suggested he could be dangerous in Class 3 company when respected in betting for that assignment and Robot Lucky Star has always shown above-average ability.
