If punters had been at Catterick on Friday, they may have struggled to see much of the opening two races, thanks to a thick fog that descended upon the track.

Tinnahalla burst through the mist to win the opening juvenile hurdle, before Silver In Disguise won the following handicap chase.

Venetia Williams celebrated an across the cards double on Friday, with our NAP of the day Easy As That winning at Newbury, after Quick Wave had scored at Catterick.

Small Present and Ex S'Elance celebrated victories in handicap hurdles. Omar Maretti won a competitive maiden, before Newberry New scored in the Middle Distance Handicap Chase qualifier for William Bethell.
