2026 Futurity Trophy Entries
Three of the last five renewals of this Group One have been won by Aidan O'Brien, and the master of Ballydoyle will play a strong hand again. The firm favourite is Noble Exhibit, who powered to victory over a mile in the Beresford Stakes last month.
Karl Burke looks set to run Burning Up following his runner-up effort behind Haffner in the Royal Lodge Stakes. Al Hudaiba travelled to Canada to claim Group One honours in September and could represent Charlie Appleby in the final Group One of the Flat season.
Haffner holds an entry at Doncaster but looks set for an outing at the Breeders' Cup instead. Group Two winner Giant Sequoia could be the Ballydoyle second string. Wall Street, Drumbeat, Capability Brown and Sergei Diaghilev have also been entered by Aidan O'Brien.
Champagne Stakes third Breacher looks set to step up to a mile for the first time. Andrew Balding's Royal Quest ran here at Doncaster earlier in the season. Other potential runners include another Balding juvenile, Gran Dia, Charlie Johnston's experienced two-year-old Pikachu and Ed Walker's Solario Stakes winner Alfred Wallace.
