Day two at Glorious Goodwood is headlined by the Sussex Stakes. This famous race was first staged in 1841 and the form from several of this season's Group Ones over a mile will be advertised at this year's Glorious meeting.

Let's take a look through the latest Sussex Stakes betting and run through the headline entries.

Topping the betting is Richard Hannon's Rosallion, who kicked off his season with a runner-up finish in the 2000 Guineas. Richard Hannon's star has since won the Irish version of that Classic and the St James's Palace Stakes, and will enter this year's Sussex Stakes as the short-priced favourite.

Aidan O'Brien's leading contender is Henry Longfellow, who followed Rosallion home at Royal Ascot. 2000 Guineas winner, Notable Speech struggled on fast ground at Ascot and Charlie Appleby will be hoping for slower conditions at Goodwood for his Classic winner.

Jersey Stakes winner, Haatem could join stablemate Rosallion in the field, if he's rerouted from the Lennox Stakes. Celebration Mile winner, Quddwah will step up to Group One company for the first time at Glorious Goodwood. Facteur Cheval could make the trip over from France again, having finished second to Paddington in this race 12 months ago.

William Haggas will be represented by Queen Anne Stakes third Maljoom. Dolayli and Metropolitan have been entered by French connections. Other possible runners include Ralph Beckett's Sonny Liston, Devil's Point for David Menuisier, and Roger Varian's Embesto.
