Day four at Royal Ascot features two excellent Group One races. The first is the newest top-level race of the meeting, the Commonwealth Cup, which is open only to three-year-olds and run over a trip of six furlongs.
Let's take a look through the latest Commonwealth Cup betting and run through the headline entries.
A two-time Group One winner as a juvenile, Perfect Power didn't see out the mile when seventh in the 2000 Guineas last time out. Richard Fahey's star is favourite to land another Group One as he returns to six furlongs, with Karl Burke's Sandy Lane Stakes winner, El Cabello sitting second in the market.
Go Bears Go could only finish fourth behind El Cabello last time out, but won the Commonwealth Cup Trial well on his reappearance. Like the favourite, Tenebrism didn't stay eight furlongs in the 1000 Guineas and Aidan O'Brien will drop his Cheveley Park Stakes winner back to this more comfortable trip.
Timber Flow beat Ehraz in the Carnarvon Stakes last time out, and they could renew rivalries at Royal Ascot. US based trainer, Christophe Clement could be represented by the classy Slipsteam, who won the Palisades Stakes on his reappearance.
Fellow US trainer, Wesley Ward has Ruthin and Her World entered up. Mick O'Callaghan will be represented by recent Lacken Stakes winner Twilight Jet. Other likely runners include Sense Of Duty, Lusail, Wings Of War, Flaming Rib and Sacred Bridge.
