Here are our best betting tips for Friday's three Listed races.
Listed Tips - Friday 18th September
2:30pm Ayr - Harry Rosebery Stakes Tips
This Listed contest is known for upsets, so I find myself looking away from the more fancied runners at the head of the market. NOUR (10/1) narrowly got the job done in handicap company last time out, but there's a chance that she could take a big step forwards for that winning effort.
Karl Burke's filly finished third on debut at Redcar, before another narrow defeat at York on her second outing in July. Nour then made all on her nursery handicap debut at Southwell three weeks ago, holding firm in the closing stages to fend off the charging Lord Ragnar.
Pierre-Louis Jamin's mount is a fast starter and a strong traveller, so dropping down to the minimum distance could suit. Most of her rivals in this field like to be played late, so there's a chance that Nour could be allowed to dominate the race from the front.
3:05pm Ayr - Arran Scottish Sprint Stakes Tips
Beautiful Diamond will return to Ayr and attempt to defend her Listed crown. Karl Burke's filly can never be discounted at this track, but a large field has been confirmed to take her on, and I'm not keen on her draw down the low side.
CATCHING THE MOON (12/1) was a winner at this meeting 12 months ago, beating Lam Yai to land the Firth Of Clyde Stakes on just her third career start. Richard and Peter Fahey's filly was well beaten on her return in the Fred Darling and got upset in the stalls before being tailed off on her next outing in the Summer Stakes at York.
Oisin Orr's mount was very slowly away at Pontefract when last seen in August, but picked up well from the rear and caught the eye with a late rattle into fourth place. Catching The Moon will need to make a level break, as there looks to be loads of pace on here, but she's proven at the track and on the ground, and there's every chance she's been training with this meeting in mind.

4:07pm Newbury - Free Cup Stakes Tips
Three-year-olds have won the last two editions of the Free Cup, and CATULLUS (3/1) has been freshened up for this Listed assignment.
Charlie Appleby's colt bolted up on his reappearance in a handicap at Goodwood in May and was sent off at 9/1 for the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. Catullus struggled from a poor draw that day, but bounced back to form with a fine run in the Thoroughbred Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. Making his first start over a mile, he attempted to make all before being run down late by Shayem and stablemate Talk Of New York.
Ground conditions look likely to remain decent at Newbury over the next few days, which will suit Catullus, who has done his best work on good ground. William Buick's mount has been drawn among the other potential pacemakers in stall six, and dropping back to seven furlongs should be ideal.
