Five horses to back in the Non-Runner No Bet markets for the 2024 Cheltenham Festival.

Bet365 became the latest bookmaker to go Non-Runner No Bet in all 28 of their Cheltenham Festival markets this weekend. NRNB stipulations mean that, if you back a horse in any of bet365's Cheltenham markets and the horse you've backed doesn't run in that race, you'll get your money back in cash.

Here are five horses that offer excellent value in the NRNB markets for the 2024 Cheltenham Festival.

2024 Cheltenham Festival NRNB Tips


Anzadam - Boodles Juvenile Hurdle


Willie Mullins' said this weekend that everything currently entered up at the Dublin Racing Festival is expected to run. Salvador Mundi finished second to Sir Gino on his sole start in France and a strong performance in the Spring Juvenile Hurdle could see Mullins' recruit renew rivalries with his old sparring partner in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Joe and Marie Donnelly also purchased ANZADAM (10/1) from France before the start of the season. Anzadam won both of his starts over hurdles during the autumn, narrowly beating Le Fauve - now rated 118 with Dan Skelton - on debut before a seven-length triumph on his second start. He too could make his debut for Willie Mullins in the Spring Juvenile before heading on to the Cheltenham Festival. With the Donnelly's likely to be represented by Sir Gino and Salvador Mundi in the Triumph, Anzadam could be pointed at the Boodles - if he's handed a workable rating by the British handicapper.

Jango Baie - Baring Bingham Novices' Hurdle


Ballyburn tops the betting for the opening race on Ladies' Day at Cheltenham. Willie Mullins plans to run his novice in the two-mile Grade One at the Dublin Racing Festival, and victory there could see Ballyburn join Mystical Power in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

That would leave the Baring Bingham - formerly known as the Ballymore - looking decidedly open and a strong case can be made for JANGO BAIE (14/1). Despite going plenty wrong on both starts, Nicky Henderson's star has won a maiden at Ascot and the Grade One Formby Novices' Hurdle at Aintree. With stablemate Jeriko De Reponet entered against the Irish in the Supreme, Henderson could step his other star novice up in distance at Cheltenham and I could see Jango Baie improving again for the extra distance. 

Stattler - Cross Country Chase


Gordon Elliott seems to have identified the Cross Country Chase as the ideal preparation for his Grand National contenders. Two-time defending champion, Delta Work will be joined in this year's Cross Country by stablemates Conflated and Galvin, before all three bid for Grand National glory at Aintree the following month.

Former Gold Cup hero, Minella Indo looks set to represent Henry De Bromhead in the Cross Country. Not wanting to be left out, Willie Mullins could have this unique race earmarked for former National Hunt Chase winner, STATTLER (7/1). Mullins has already said that the Grand National is the aim for Stattler, who hasn't been entered in any of the Grade One races at Cheltenham. Willie could go for the Bobbyjo Chase en route to Aintree, but given Stattler's Festival form, the Cross Country would be the natural target for this strong stayer.

Ahoy Senor - Ryanair Chase


Having watched her enigmatic star run a strong race in the Cotswold Chase, Lucinda Russell will be much more optimistic about AHOY SENOR'S (25/1) prospects heading into Cheltenham. Russell's star was running well in the Gold Cup last season before that crashing fall sixth-last. Stephen Mulqueen's mount was jumping well around the New Course again this weekend, until a stirrup leather snapped after the fourth-last and Mulqueen had to negotiate a sliding saddle during the closing stages.

Ahoy Senor saves his best for Aintree and Russell will undoubtedly have one eye on the Aintree Bowl. With Galopin Des Champs and Fastorslow looking mighty strong at the head of the Gold Cup betting, I would be amazed if Russell didn't strongly consider the weaker option of the Ryanair Chase, before heading returning to Merseyside. If his jumping stands up to the scrutiny, Ahoy Senor could be hard to peg back over the Ryanair distance.

Lisnagar Fortune - County Hurdle


A bumper winner at the Punchestown Festival in 2022, LISNAGAR FORTUNE (14/1) only ran twice last season, losing out in maiden hurdles over staying distances. Willie Mullins dropped his six-year-old down the minimum distance for his reappearance at Cork in November, where Lisnagar Fortune was only beaten a short-head by future Lawlor's Of Naas winner and stablemate, Readin Tommy Wrong.

With Paul Townend in the saddle, Lisnagar Fortune ran out an easy winner of a maiden hurdle at Punchestown in January. Lisnagar Fortune holds entries for both the Supreme and the Ballymore, but that fourth outing over hurdles qualified Mullins' novice for any of the handicaps at Cheltenham, and Willie always likes to have at least one talented novice entered up in the County Hurdle.
