2022 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe Jockey Prize Money
The winning rider will win a percentage of the first prize money if they guide their horse to victory. That percentage will have been agreed upon before the race.
Most jockeys take home around 8% of the prize money on offer in any given race. In the more prestigious races, like the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, that percentage is often boosted up to 10% or more.
Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe Race Information
The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is run at Longchamp racecourse in Paris, France on the first Sunday in October every year. The 2022 Arc will take place at 3:05pm on Sunday 2nd October.
The Arc is a Group One race open to horses that are three years old or older. The race is run over a distance of 12 furlongs (one-and-a-half miles) or 2,400 metres.
Only the 20 highest-rated entrants will make it into the final field. The lowest rating for a horse to enter the Arc is usually around between 110 and 115.
