There's now just over an hour to go until the card on Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe day gets underway.
Six Group One prizes will get handed out this afternoon and the betting for all six is really starting to hot up. Here are five horses who've been heavily backed in the big races at Longchamp today.
Longchamp Market Movers - Sunday 2nd October
1:15pm Gamestop
Prior to The Antarctic coming out, GAMESTOP was all the rage with punters in the opener at Longchamp.
Christophe Ferland's two-year-old won nicely on debut La Teste De Buch, before finishing third in a valuable conditions race. Gamestop was last seen finishing third behind rivals Tigrais and Breizh Sky in the Prix la Rochette here at Longchamp.
When the betting for the Jean-Luc Lagardere opened, Gamestop sat near the bottom of the betting at 18/1. That price had more than halved by 10am this morning and now the best price you'll find about Gamestop is 13/2.
1:50pm Habana
When we put up HABANA as our selection in the Marcel Boussac yesterday, Andreas Wohler's charge could have been backed at 11/1.
Eduardo Pedroza's mount is two-from-two so far during his short career, following an impressive debut victory with a flawless Group Three triumph at Baden Baden. Each-way punters have latched onto this talented son of Kingman over the past 24 hours, backing Habana right into his current price of 6/1.
4:25pm Tees Spirit & Mo Celita
Both of Adrian Nicholls' runners are extremely popular in the betting for the Prix de l'Abbaye. Epsom Dash winner, TEES SPIRIT travels to Longchamp on the back of an excellent Listed victory out in Ireland and his price has almost halved during the course of the morning.
The biggest market mover is his stablemate MO CELITA, who finished fifth in this race 12 months ago. When we highlighted Mo Celita as a good value bet in our Longchamp tips yesterday, he could have been backed at 33/1. As of midday on Sunday, Nicholls' four-year-old has been slashed right into 12/1.
5:00pm New Energy
Having drifted out to 14/1 when money came for Kinross and Tenebrism yesterday, this morning's market mover in the Foret is Sheila Lavery's three-year-old, NEW ENERGY.
Runner-up to Native Trail in the Irish 2000 Guineas earlier in the season, New Energy was last seen staying on to finish second to Kinross in the Park Stakes during the St Leger Festival. Following that one-length defeat to the favourite at Longchamp, New Energy has now been backed right into 9/1 and could soon rival Fang and Sandrine for third-favouritism.
