Sunday's action commences with two historic juvenile races. Aesop's Fables will bid to bounce back in the Jean-Luc Lagardere, after a poor run in the National Stakes at the Curragh. Fellow Ballydoyle residents, Never Ending Story and Be Happy feature prominently in the fillies version of that Group One, the Prix Marcel Boussac.

The build-up then begins to one of the most famous sporting events in the world, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Read our full guide to this year's Arc to see the latest odds and our two against the field.

Once the winner of the Arc has been crowned, we move into the Prix de l'Opera, where Joseph O'Brien's Above The Curve will bid to win her third Group One of the season. Richard Fahey's talented juvenile, The Platinum Queen could then take on speedy older sprinters like Berneuil, Rohaan and A Case Of You in the Abbaye.

The sixth and final Group One is the Prix de la Foret, the only Group One race for older horses run over a seven-furlong trip, where Frankie Dettori''s mount Kinross is the warm favourite to claim his third victory on the bounce.
