AYZAL showed pace over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time, but found one too good in the form of Umoyawokubambelela. The daughter of Legislate is a progressive type and from her good draw of two, she can go one better.
Race 3 - WEDDING VOW (4)
WEDDING VOW stayed on when fifth over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Master Of My Fate takes a drop in class and Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off her back. From her handy draw of four, she can return to winning ways.
Race 4 - LUCKY DOLLAR (2)
LUCKY DOLLAR has shown signs of a form return in his last two starts. He raced from a handy position over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time and stayed on to finish fourth. He has won twice and finished second twice from five starts over this C&D. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes the 2.5kgs off and from his good draw of two, he may be hard to peg back.
Race 5 - PIED PIPER (4)
PIED PIPER was running on too late when second over this C&D last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The 10-week break may have done him the world of good. He has cracked a good draw of four and can return to winning ways.
Race 7 - TRAFALGAR SQUARE (3)
TRAFALGAR SQUARE has finished third in his last three starts. He finished 0.3 lengths behind CHAMPAGNE MAC last time. He is 6.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough to turn the form around. Apprentice Divesh Ramkhalawon takes the 4kgs off his back and he can notch up his ninth-career victory.
