Race 1 - WHATASTAR (2)

He would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

Race 7 - ENCHANTING CHOICE (1)

ENCHANTING CHOICE raced wide into the straight last time but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. She has won once and finished third four times from seven starts over this C&D. She has dropped in the ratings and from pole position, she can return to winning ways.

Race 8 - BEER WITH THE BOYS (2)

BEER WITH THE BOYS has produced three good runs since winning his maiden over this C&D. He takes a drop in class and carries a big mass of 64kgs. Muzi Yeni is booked to ride from a good draw of two and he may be the one to side with in this field.

Race 9 - BEL CANTO DREAM (9)

BEL CANTO DREAM was an impressive winner when shedding his maiden tag over 1400m on this course. He raced from a handy position, quickened up well and drew clear. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He takes on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.
