Aidan O'Brien Stable Tour - Glorious Goodwood
Kyprios (Goodwood Cup)
Everything has went well since Ascot. He's a bit lazy in his work, but he's doing well. So far so good.
He's got a lot of class this horse. More class than anybody thinks. He does stay, which is unusual. He'd have no problem being a Group horse over a mile-and-a-quarter. To be a stayer is very rare. When you go past those distances, very few horses get them really. He has the class and gets the trip as well.
Obviously, we don't want to take any chances with him. We owe him a lot more than he owes us. I never thought he would race ever again. Where he's come from to where he is now is incredible really. If the ground was very fast at Goodwood, then we'd have to think about whether we risk him or not, but hopefully it'll be fine.
Point Lonsdale (Goodwood Cup)
If Kyprios didn't run, then Point Lonsdale is going to be an unbelievable sub. He handles fast ground, and he's shown that he gets a mile-and-seven very well. There's every chance he could get two miles.
He's a horse with a lot of class as well. He was only just beaten over a mile-and-a-half on his last run in a Group One. He's a lovely horse. He's got a great mind, a great mover, everything about him is lovely.
Henry Longfellow (Sussex Stakes)
The first day in France was a non-event really, so we just put a line through that. When that happens you don't learn much, so you have to go into the next race.
We went to Ascot and it was a massive run. We learnt a lot about him that day. We always thought he was a special horse last season and we learnt a lot from his run at Ascot.
It's possible that we could step him up in trip, but he's got loads of speed. There's every chance he'll stay at a mile, it depends on what the lads decide really.
Opera Singer (Nassau Stakes)
We were delighted with her run at Ascot. Ryan (Moore) thought that the other horse who led just messed up his pace a little bit, but we were over the moon with her.
We were always going to step up to a mile-and-a-quarter and come to the Nassau after that. Everything has went well since and we're looking forward to seeing her over ten furlongs. She probably will even go further.
Jan Brueghel (Gordon Stakes)
The Gordon Stakes is the plan. He's a lovely horse. He ran well over a mile-and-a-quarter the last day and we always thought he was a horse who would stay further.
He's a relaxed, laid-back horse. He's had two lovely runs this season. We couldn't be happier with him. We thought this race would fit in lovely to his program, before going on to the St Leger.
Grateful (Lillie Langtry Stakes)
She's a Galileo filly, one of the last of the Galileo's out of Tepin, so she has the most incredible pedigree. We were delighted with her the last day when she stepped up in distance. She was still green when she got to the front. Ronan (Whelan) who rode her said he thought she'd come on again for the run, so the Lillie Langtry is the plan.
