Gavin Cromwell has three fancied runners in the 2025 Grand National, as he looks to back up his Cheltenham Gold Cup success.

Cromwell's leading contender could turn out to be Stumptown, who travels to Aintree on the back of four successive victories. Gavin's eight-year-old won twice around the Banks course at Punchestown either side of a summer break, and claimed his second victory around Cheltenham in the Cross Country Handicap Chase at their December Meeting.

Under the burden of top-weight, Stumptown made it four wins on the bounce in the Cross Country at the Cheltenham Festival. Keith Donoghue gave the market leader an excellent ride, hitting the front just after the last to seal a cosy victory.

Stumptown will wear the green silks of owners the Furze Bush Syndicate. Cromwell's eight-year-old will be ridden by regular jockey Keith Donoghue and will be number 10 on your Grand National racecard.
