2024 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe Runners
Ace Impact ended his career unbeaten when landing the Arc in 2023. Look De Vega will be looking to emulate his countryman, having won all three of his starts thus far, and Carlos and Yann Lerner's star will take in the Prix Niel before heading back to Longchamp in October.
Sosie, third behind Look De Vega in the Prix du Jockey Club, jumped up to second in the market after beating Illinois in the Grand Prix de Paris. Illinois may not be Arc-bound, but Aidan O'Brien is sure to have a couple of runners, with Nassau winner Opera Singer and Irish Derby hero Los Angeles sitting prominently in the market.
Joseph O'Brien has pointed impressive Preix von Berlin winner, Al Riffa at Europe's most prestigious race. John Murphy's Group One winner, White Birch could also fly the flag for Ireland in this year's Arc, with Ancient Wisdom and Arabian Crown possible runners for Godolphin's top trainer, Charlie Appleby.
Yoshito Yahagi intends to run top Japanese three-year-old Shin Emperor, after taking in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown. Do Deuce, who finished next-to-last in the 2022 renewal of the Arc, could also represent Japan in this year's contest.
Jean-Claude Rouget has handed entries to the Ballydoyle-owned Delius, and the fourth from 2022, Al Hakeem. Andre Fabre's Mqse De Sevigne could join stablemate Sosie in the contest. Recent Group Two winners, Survie and Aventure could feature in the home squad for this year's Arc.
Other potential runners include Ralph Beckett's Irish Oaks winner You Got To Me, former St Leger winner Continuous, Feed The Flame for Pascal Bary, and Frau Steinberg's stable star, Fantastic Moon.
