Europe's most prestigious flat race will be run at Longchamp on Sunday, as some of the world's finest flat racers contest the 2024 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
Sosie defeated the previously unbeaten Look De Vega in the recent Prix Niel, and they sit first and second in the market. Both Aidan O'Brien's Los Angeles and Japanese raider Shin Emperor were well backed for the Arc after strong showings in the Irish Champion Stakes. Prix Vermeille winner, Bluestocking has also been supplemented into this year's contest.
The Arc is one of eight Group Ones to be run at Longchamp this weekend. The Prix du Cadran headlines a top-quality card on day one of this famous meeting on Saturday. Six top races will then be run on Sunday, with the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, Prix Marcel Boussac and the Arc being shown live on ITV Racing.
