Andre Fabre runs three in this year's 2024 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, with Maxime Guyon partnering with joint-favourite Sosie.
Fabre's colt started this season well, winning a conditions race at Longchamp before finishing third behind Look De Vega in the Prix du Jockey Club. Sosie then made the breakthrough at Group One level in July, beating Illinois and Delius by two lengths in the Grand Prix de Paris.
After a short break, Sosie reversed the Jockey Club form with Look De Vega in the Prix Niel. Guyon's mount picked off the front-running favourite with two furlongs to travel and held off the charging Delius to win one of the best trials for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
Sosie will wear the number 13 saddle cloth number and carry the colours of owners Wertheimer & Frere. Maxime Guyon takes the ride again and Fabre will have been delighted when Sosie landed stall five in the Arc draw on Thursday.
