Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe day has arrived!

Racing fans were treated to a spectacular day of action on Saturday. After a dry night, the ground at Paris-Longchamp remains good-to-soft, but there is some rain in the forecast, so we'll provide another ground and odds update a little later this morning.

Let's take a look through the current betting for today's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Odds taken at 8:00am.

Aidan O'Brien enjoyed a sensational start to the Arc meeting on Saturday, celebrating four winners across the card, including Group One victories for Kyprios and Grateful. Los Angeles was already proving popular with punters, but O'Brien's success on Saturday has seen his Irish Derby winner backed into joint-favouritism for our main event.

Prix Niel winner, Sosie remains solid in the market and is readily available at 9/2. Over the past 24 hours, former favourite Look De Vega has been weak on the exchanges, drifting out to as big as 7/1 with some firms, having been cut into 4/1 during the week.

Japanese star, Shin Emperor was slashed for the Arc after a strong showing in the Irish Champion Stakes and his price is expected to shorten further when Japanese fans get stuck into their raider. Joseph O'Brien's Al Riffa has also seen his price plummet since the decs were confirmed and he too could prove popular with Japanese supporters, given he'll be ridden by Yutaka Take.

If the showers that have been forecast for this morning do turn out to be heavy, then the mud-loving Delius could come in for support. Connections of Aventure, Sevenna's Knight and Haya Zark have also been hoping for rain, so expect their prices to shorten if the going description changes.

Ralph Beckett's raider, Bluestocking remains fairly solid in the market. David Menuisier's Sunway has come in for some each-way support after stablemate Tamfana won the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday. Fantastic Moon and Mqse De Sevigne both come into the Arc on the back of Group One wins. Continuous, Zarakem and Survie complete the field.
