2024 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe News - 18 confirmed after Monday's declarations
The seven-day declaration stage for the 2024 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe concluded with 18 elite racers still in the running. Sosie leads the betting market after defeating Look De Vega in the Prix Niel, though the field remains highly competitive with close odds. Aidan O'Brien shocked many by keeping Auguste Rodin in the field, and other notable entries include Opera Singer, Continuous, and Luxembourg. Ralph Beckett's Bluestocking and David Menuisier's Sunway are also among potential runners.

The seven-day declaration stage for the 2024 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe passed on Monday, with 18 of Europe's finest flat racers remaining in the running.
Having taken down the previously unbeaten Look De Vega in the Prix Niel, Sosie remains the bookmaker's favourite for next Sunday's showpiece event. However, the betting market remains incredibly tight, with bet365 currently listing seven horses between 4/1 and 10/1.
One of the biggest talking points on Monday came courtesy of Aidan O'Brien. Following Opera Singer's flop in the Prix Vermeille, Irish Derby winner Los Angeles was expected to be O'Brien's only runner. It was quite a shock then when Auguste Rodin's name remained in the field, with O'Brien stating that his star could run if, like last year, the ground was to come up good.
Opera Singer, Continuous and Luxembourg have also been left in the field by Aidan O'Brien. Joseph O'Brien has already confirmed Al Riffa for the race, where he'll be ridden by Japanese jockey Yutaka Take.
Ralph Beckett's Prix Vermeille winner, Bluestocking will be supplemented into the race later this week. David Menuisier's Sunway is the only other potential runner from Britain. German star, Fantastic Moon will make his second appearance in the Arc.
Prix Niel third Delius, and Prix Vermeille runner-up Aventure have also been left in the contest. Other potential home runners include multiple Group One winner Mqse De Sevigne, Survie, Sevenna's Knight, Zarakem and surprise Prix Ganay winner, Haya Zark.
