2025 Betfair Chase Entries

Grey Dawning carried the tag of favouritism into last year's Betfair Chase, but was outstayed by defending champion Royale Pagaille. Both look set to make their seasonal reappearances at Haydock, and it's Dan Skelton's star who tops the market again.

Splitting last year's top two in the betting is Irish National winner Haiti Couleurs, who returned to action with an impressive handicap win over hurdles. Ben Pauling has also managed to get a run into Handstands, with last year's Scilly Isles winner finishing second to Resplendent Grey in the Colin Parker at Carlisle.

Resplendent Grey is entered at Haydock too, but seems more likely to head to Newbury for the Coral Gold Cup, where he'll join Myretown in the field. Spillane's Tower won't run after his hurdling defeat at Naas, and Protektorat heads for Cheltenham instead.

Gordon Elliott could be represented by Brown Advisory runner-up Stellar Story. Thomas Gibney has entered former Irish National winner Intense Raffles, with Jordans a possible runner for Joseph O'Brien.

Sara Bradstock could be represented by the strong-staying mud lover Mr Vango. Paul Nicholls' Hitman, Marsh Wren for Stuart Edmunds, and Nicky Henderson's recruit Ginny's Destiny also feature in the field.
