2026 Pretty Polly Stakes Entries
Given its timing between the two Classics, it's been a while since we saw an Epsom Oaks winner line up in the Pretty Polly. That seems like to change on Saturday, as Joseph O'Brien seems keen to run Thundering On - three weeks after her Classic triumph at Epsom - before returning to the Curragh to try and complete the Oaks double next month.
David O'Meara's grey Estrange returned to action with an easy win at Carlisle last month, and she sits closest to Thundering On in the market. Red Letter did Ger Lyons proud with a fine effort behind See The Fire in the Middleton Stakes at York. She also sits prominently in the market, along with Paddy Twomey's Group Three winner, One Look.
Aidan O'Brien only holds two entries, and seems likely to be represented by Epsom Oaks third Sugar Island. Joseph O'Brien could be further represented by Munster Oaks runner-up Nyra, and Hedge Of Oak Stakes third Wemightakedlongway.
