The first fillies' Classic of the season takes place at Newmarket on the first Sunday in May, as the 1000 Guineas takes place on the Rowley Mile.  This historic race has been won by many of flat racing's most famous fillies and the betting for this year's renewal is topped by two of last season's best juveniles.

Here's the latest 1000 Guineas betting and a look through the most likely runners.

2025 1000 Guineas Entries

Despite his success in the colt's Classic, Charlie Appleby is yet to celebrate a 1000 Guineas win. That could change this year, as runaway Fillies' Mile winner Desert Flower dominates the market, even though she'll arrive at Newmarket fresh.

Lake Victoria brings the best juvenile form into this Classic, having won the Moyglare, the Cheveley Park and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies' Turf during a remarkable two-year-old campaign. Aidan O'Brien could also be represented by Debutante Stakes winner Bedtime Story, Priory Belle Stakes runner-up Exactly, and Oh So Sharp Stakes winner Merrily.

Ger Lyons has handed entries to Moyglare fourth Red Letter, and Listed winner Chantez. Ralph Beckett's once-raced filly Chantilly Lace sits prominently in the market. Nell Gwyn runner-up Celestial Orbit, Oh So Sharp Stakes third Flight and beaten Fred Darling favourite Simmering could all represent Ollie Sangster in this famous Classic.

Other potential runners on the final day of the Guineas Festival include Janey Mackers for David Menuisier, Fred Darling runner-up Hey Boo, Nell Gwyn third Remaat, and Elwateen for Saeed bin Suroor.
