The first of two Group Ones on Cambridgeshire day at Newmarket is the Cheveley Park Stakes. This Cheveley Park was first run on the Rowley Mile in 1899, and many top fillies have ended their juvenile campaigns with victory in this historic race.
We've taken a look through the field for the 2021 Cheveley Park Stakes and picked out our best bets.

2021 Cheveley Park Stakes Runners
Topping the betting we find Ger Lyons' raider Sacred Bridge, who's four-from-four so far this season. Colin Keane's mount maintained her unbeaten record with an impressive victory in the Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh, a performance for which she was handed a rating of 111.
Sandrine won at Royal Ascot and the July Meeting earlier in the season, and she sits second in the betting. Andrew Balding's filly was touched off last time out by Zain Claudette, and Ismail Mohammed's filly could also take her chance in this Group One.
Flotus bounced back to top form in the 2-Y-O Trophy at Ripon last month and she could be a player. As could Desert Dreamer, who's placed in four pattern races this season.
Illustrating was last seen finishing third behind Cambridgeshire Meeting entrant, Corazon in the Prix d'Arenberg. Corazon then finished a close third behind Caturra and Armor, who'll enter the Middle Park Stakes tomorrow.
Aidan O'Brien will throw the once-raced Tenebrism into the mix. Eve Lodge, Thunder Love and French raider, Have A Good Day round off the field on Saturday.

The draw could have a big impact on this year's Cheveley Park Stakes.
The three classiest fillies at the head of the market all like to be up with the pace, and they've been drawn in stalls one, two and three. Corazon, a proven front-runner, has been drawn in four. The field tends to drift down towards the stand's rail on the Rowley Mile, so any runners who've been drawn high who like to be held up could find themselves blocked in on the rail.
Sacred Bridge is clearly a danger and the consistent Zain Claudette cannot be ruled out. However, I've been really impressed with SANDRINE throughout the season, and I'll be siding with Andrew Balding's filly.
Following a good maiden success at Kempton, Sandrine handled heavy ground brilliantly when powering to victory in the Albany Stakes. On much quicker ground at the July Festival, Balding's filly was just as impressive, cruising to victory in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes.
David Probert's mount then attempted to carry a penalty to victory in the Lowther Stakes. Unlike her previous three starts, Sandrine was really slowly away at York. Probert had to switch to the inside to try and make his challenge, only to run out of steam in the closing stages and lose out to Zain Claudette by a length.
Sandrine will need to be much more alert coming out the stalls than she was at York, as getting a good early position will be vitally important. If she does get out the gates well, then I think she's the one to beat.
Verdict
Andrew Balding won this race with Alcohol Free last season, and Sandrine can help the in-form trainer retain the Cheveley Park Stakes crown.
