Kalpana runs a belter back in second, having tracked the pace the whole way. Goliath looked to be coming with a big run, until Christophe Soumillon lost his irons and his challenge was basically over.

12:00pm - Who Will Be Crowned Leading Trainer?
Aidan O'Brien currently leads the way in the Top Trainer standings, and looks to have some good opportunities today. Joseph O'Brien trails his father by one, having saddled five winners this week, and he too has saved some strong horses for the final day of the meeting.
George Boughey sits in joint-third place with three winners. William Haggas has also notched three winners over the first four days, but he's got some really strong chances this afternoon. A late surge could be enough for Haggas to claim top honours, if the O'Brien's fail to hit the target!

11:00am - Going Update and Non Runners
The ground has got quicker and quicker with each day of Royal Ascot, despite selected watering across the whole track.
GOOD TO FIRM is the official going description for day five. The stand's side is now measuring at 9.0 on the going stick. Yesterday, the far side was only measuring at 8.3, with the centre reading 8.9, but now both the inside and centre are reading 8.9, so there's clearly been a concerted effort to iron out the draw bias.
Two non-runners to bring you. Caburn has come out of the Wokingham (5:00), and Accredit won't run in the Golden Gates (5:35).
Can Kalpana finish Top 3 in the Hardwicke Stakes and complete the clean sweep of winning bet365 boosts?!
Well, everyone, today is the final day of Royal Ascot 2026. I won't know what to do with myself tomorrow. It's been an incredible week!
Before the action wraps up with the Queen Alexandra Stakes, we've got an excellent renewal of the Jubilee Stakes to enjoy, and vintage renewals of both the Hardwicke and the Jersey Stakes. The Wokingham is always a fantastic spectacle too, so best of luck to anyone having a bet this afternoon🤞
