2021 Punchestown Champion Hurdle Entries

Honeysuckle produced the finest performance of her sparkling career at the Cheltenham Festival, powering clear to claim an emphatic victory in the Champion Hurdle. Henry De Bromhead's mare will go for her eleventh-straight victory under rules at Punchestown, and Paddy Power make Honeysuckle their 4/6 favourite.

Nicky Henderson's mare, Epatante ran well to finish third behind Honeysuckle at Cheltenham, and she'll be looking to follow in the footsteps of stablemate Buveur D'Air, the last winner of the Punchestown Champion Hurdle.

Sharjah finished closest to Honeysuckle at Cheltenham, and he'll return for another crack at his rival. Willie Mullins has also handed entries to James Du Berlais, Klassical Dream and Saldier.

Abacadabras could turn out again having won the Aintree Hurdle last time out. Aspire Tower could join stablemate Honeysuckle in the final field, as could Jason The Militant.

Gary Moore's Goshen looks likely to make the trip over to Punchestown. Darver Star and Silver Streak round off the Punchestown Festival betting.
