One of the most lucrative races staged during the Breeders' Cup is the Breeders' Cup Turf. European horses boast an excellent record in this 12-furlong contest, so it's no surprise to see the betting dominated by the raiders.

2023 Breeders' Cup Turf Tips - Onesto
I'd be surprised if we saw a home winner of the Turf this year. Up To The Mark only narrowly got the better of Master Of The Seas on his prep-run over a mile and this trip might be a bit of a stretch. War Like Goddess has some good form to her name, but I don't think she's of the same sort of class as either Found or Tarnawa, the only two fillies to win the Breeders' Cup Turf this century.
With two stablemates in the field who will likely go forward to make the pace, the race should set up perfectly for Auguste Rodin. Aidan O'Brien's Epsom Derby winner is at his best on fast ground and should have no trouble seeing out the trip. The favourite has, however, produced two dismal efforts on his travels this season and I can't trust Auguste Rodin enough to back him at such a short price.
King Of Steel's form ties in very closely with Auguste Rodin's, having finished close behind the market leader in the Epsom Derby and the Irish Champion Stakes. Frankie Dettori's mount had a hard race when winning the British Champion Stakes just two weeks ago and I'm not sure fast ground around a tight, turning track will suit this giant of a horse.
Mostahdaf brings the strongest British form to the table, having trounced his rivals in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes before holding off two multiple Group One winners in Nashwa and Paddington from the front to land the Juddmonte International. John and Thady Gosden's five-year-old loves fast ground and I can't see the trip posing him any problems.
At a better price, I'm really keen on the chances of ONESTO (15/2), following that excellent third behind the ultra-impressive Ace Impact in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe last time out.
A Group One winner and runner-up in the Irish Champion Stakes at three, that run at Longchamp was a season's best form Onesto, who hadn't been as competitive as Frabrice Chappet would have liked on his two previous starts. Maxim Guyon's mount also ran an excellent race on fast ground in the Japan Cup last November, where Onesto could never find a clear path to the post on the inside rail and finished full of running back in seventh.
The racetracks you find in France share many similarities with US racecourses and, unlike most French-bred runners, Onesto seems to be at his best on quicker ground. A lap-and-a-half around Santa Anita should be ideal for this classy French raider and Chappet's stable star should be fresher than his other rivals, having only run three times during the season.
