The public has decided that YEAH MAN is Gavin Cromwell's best chance in this year's Irish National, backing Keith Donoghue's mount into 15/2 during the course of the day. Yeah Man has been in excellent form in Britain this season, running two crackers at Ascot before powering to victory in the Grand National Trial up at Haydock.

Senior Chief - 11/1 into 8/1

Novices have a good recent record in this historic contest, so it's no surprise to see money arrive for SENIOR CHIEF. Henry De Bromhead's seven-year-old has taken to chasing well this term, following Gaelic Warrior and Minella Cocooner home on his first two start, before winning nicely at Punchestown in February. Frontal Assault - 33/1 into 18/1

A gallant runner-up to Lord Lariat in this race two years ago, FRONTAL ASSAULT has been supported in from 33s this morning. Gordon Elliott's star is a former winner of the Porterstown Handicap here at Fairyhouse, and finished fourth in that testing handicap earlier this season. Seven-pound claimer, Carl Millar comes in for the ride on Frontal Assault, who's already proven his stamina over this course-and-distance.
