2024 Irish Grand National Entries

After Cheltenham Festival winners Corbetts Cross, Inothewayurthinkin and Limerick Lace were ruled out, Nick Rockett has been backed into clear favouritism for this year's Irish Grand National. Willie Mullins' novice has run twice over fences at Fairyhouse this season and has been supported after some positive comments from his trainer in the build-up.

Intense Raffles could carry the double-green of Munir & Souede into this famous handicap. As could Martin Brassil's Kerry National winner, Desertmore House. Gavin Cromwell, meanwhile, looks likely to unleash Haydock National Trial winner Yeah Man, and the hat-trick-seeking Hartur D'arc in the feature at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday.

Ted Walsh has entered former British Grand National runner-up Any Second Now. Henry De Bromhead's Senior Chief, Gordon Elliott's Favour De Champdou and Paul Nolan's Daily Present will be looking to add their names to the list of novices who've won this historic handicap.

We'llhavewan, Minella Cocooner and Paul Marvel could join stablemate Nick Rockett in the field. Gordon Elliott's Farouk D'Alene will have to carry top-weight off his rating of 153. Other possible runners include Churchstonewarrior, Dunboyne, Good Time Jonny, Digby, Frontal Assault and Grandero Bello.
