Fairyhouse's Easter Festival continues on Sunday, and racing fans have an excellent card to enjoy on Easter Sunday. Two Grade One races headline the action, with the Gold Cup Novice Chase following the Mares' Novices' Hurdle Final.

We've taken a closer look at the feature races on Sunday at Fairyhouse and picked out our best betting tips.

Fairyhouse Tips - Sunday 9th April

Race 3 - Honeysuckle Mares Novice Hurdle Tips

Ashroe Diamond skipped Cheltenham in favour of this assignment and Paul Townend's mount is respected at the head of the betting. Magical Zoe, Halka Du Tabert and Princess Zoe ran on well from off the pace in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle and all three have a chance. As does the burley Night And Day, who will make up into a classy novice chaser next season.

At the prices, I'm going to have an each-way punt on JETARA, who was far too keen at the Cheltenham Festival and quickly faded out of contention.

Prior to that run, Jessica Harrington's five-year-old had built up a solid portfolio of results. Jetara beat Lily Du Berlais in a Listed bumper back in November, finished second behind High Definition on her hurdles debut at Leopardstown and crossed the line just a length behind Ashroe Diamond when they met here at Fairyhouse in January.

Jetara made a winning bumper debut over two-and-a-half miles at this meeting 12 months ago, so she should relish this step back up in trip. If Sean O'Keeffe can get her to settle better, Jetara has every chance of hitting the frame.

Race 4 - Novice Hurdle Tips

There were whispers coming out of Closutton at the start of the season that PARMENION would rank highly amongst Willie Mullins' best novice hurdlers this season.

Mullins' French recruit was beaten at odds-on on his first two starts over hurdles, finishing third behind High Definition and Jetara at Leopardstown, before losing out to the classy Found A Fifty here at Fairyhouse in January. Parmenion finally put everything together over two-and-a-half miles at Leopardstown last time out and, although he didn't beat much on the day, it was hard not to be impressed by his finishing effort.

Paul Townend's mount is back in deeper waters this afternoon, but I still think Parmenion is the one to beat.

Race 5 - Cafe En Seine Novice Hurdle Tips

On ratings, Hunters Yarn should run out an easy winner of this Grade Two. However, Willie Mullins' six-year-old didn't run well in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham and, the fact that the favourite is 5/2 and the rest of this field can be backed at shorter to 10/1, suggests that the bookmakers aren't expecting a dominant performance from the market leader.

I'll take a chance on JOYEAUX MACHIN, who hasn't run since pulling up on horrible ground in the Challow Hurdle at Newbury.

Paul Nolan's novice travelled over to England on the back of an impressive maiden victory here at Fairyhouse, where he thrashed a future winner of Willie Mullins' by five lengths. Joyeaux Machin will have to step up his game on Sunday, but Nolan's charge is a horse I've always liked and I feel that there's plenty more to come from this talented sort.

Race 6 - BoyleSports Novice Handicap Chase Tips

Unlike her stablemate Hunters Yarn, Dinoblue is very strong at the head of the market here and most will be expecting the Grand Annual runner-up to go one better on Sunday.

Dinoblue isn't a big, strong mare. She's more of a light, nimble sort, so carrying 11-12 on what's likely to be fairly tacky ground could be a problem. With that in mind, I'm happy to side with WHISKEYWEALTH, who'll be getting 23 pounds from Dinoblue, thanks to John Shinnick's claimer.

Having opened his account over fences with a 15-length triumph on heavy ground at Tramore, Whiskeywealth cruised to a maiden handicap victory off a mark of 116 at Clonmel, running up to an impressive RPR of 131. Whiskeywealth warmed up for Fairyhouse with a decent third over hurdles last month and remains open to further progress back over the larger obstacles.
