2023 Fighting Fifth Hurdle Entries
Constitution Hill kicked off another unbeaten campaign with an effortless victory here at Newcastle 12 months ago. Nicky Henderson's star went on to win the Christmas Hurdle, Champion Hurdle and the Aintree Hurdle during 2022/23 and Constitution Hill is currently 1/6 to make it eight wins in a row over hurdles.
The main competition to the market leader could come from Love Envoi. A winner of the Mares' Novices' Hurdle in 2022, Harry Fry's seven-year-old went on to win twice around Sandown last season, before placing second to Honeysuckle in the Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham.
This year's Mares' Novices' Hurdle winner, You Wear It Well could step back up into Grade One company after an impressive reappearance win over Luccia at Wetherby.
