2024 Celebration Chase Entries

The clash that everyone was hoping for at the Cheltenham Festival could be on at Sandown, after both El Fabiolo and Jonbon were confirmed for the Celebration Chase. El Fabiolo is the odds-on favourite, despite flopping in the Champion Chase. Jonbon, who missed Cheltenham, is the defending champion at Sandown and returns on the back of a hard-fought victory in the Melling Chase at Aintree.

Willie Mullins' quest for the British Champion Trainer crown could see him enter Arkle winner, Gaelic Warrior alongside El Fabiolo. Mullins has also handed entries to Dysart Dynamo, Saint Sam and Appreciate It.

Queen Mother winner, Captain Guinness has been entered by Henry De Bromhead. Alan King and Tom Cannon look set to team up with Edwardstone, who fell two from home in the Champion Chase. Boothill, who was also a faller at Cheltenham, is another likely runner for Harry Fry.

Dan Skelton has entered both Nube Negra and new recruit Harpers Brook, who was formerly trained by Ben Pauling. Other possible runners at Sandown include the last two winners of the Clarence House Chase in Gary Moore's Editeur Du Gite and Joe Tizzard's Elixir De Nutz, along with another Henry De Bromhead runner, 2023 Grand Annual winner Maskada.
