Lazzat dominates the betting for Saturday's feature. Jerome Reynier's star is clearly the best sprinter in this field and he's been drawn on the right side of the track. Yet, we've seen plenty of strange results in top sprints this season, and the prospect of soft ground at Haydock makes 2/1 about the favourite all the more unappealing.
Kind Of Blue has been well below his best this term and James Fanshawe's Group One winner has been handed the widest stall of all out in 19. Time For Sandals, in contrast, has been drawn down in stall two, and there seems to be little pace drawn on the low side of the straight.
2025 Sprint Cup Ante-Post Tip - Flora Of Bermuda
FLORA OF BERMUDA (14/1) endured a luckless passage after being supplemented into this race 12 months ago. Oisin Murphy's mount broke unusually well and was one of the last to come off the bridle. However, fading front-runner Givemethebeatboys landed on her lap and Flora Of Bermuda had to muscle past Inisherin to find clean air, but her flying finish was only good enough for fifth.
Having rounded off her three-year-old campaign with a narrow defeat in the Champions Sprint, Flora Of Bermuda ran a blinder to finish a neck behind Inisherin on her reappearance at York. Despite the ground being firmly against her, Balding's filly then ran a mighty race in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, recovering well after a poor start to finish third behind Lazzat and Satono Reve.
PJ McDonald's ride reared in the stalls at the start of the July Cup and made no progress from the rear on rapid ground. Balding has kept his filly off the track since then, presumably to target big autumn races like the Sprint Cup and Champion Sprint - as this likeable sprinter has always done her best work on genuinely soft ground.

2025 Sprint Cup Tip 2 - Inisherin
It looks like the ground might actually remain good for Saturday's Sprint Cup card at Haydock, which wouldn't be ideal for Flora Of Bermuda. INISHERIN (20/1), on the other hand, should relish the conditions and Kevin Ryan's star suddenly looks overpriced at 20/1.
Inisherin went into the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes as the well-backed second-favourite, having beaten Flora Of Bermuda on his reappearance at York. Ryan's former Commonwealth Cup winner ran flat on his return to the Royal Meeting, fading late on to eventually finish seventh.
Tom Eaves' mount then finished last of nine in the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville. Inisherin was handed the worst draw of all down in stall one, and race solo for much of that contest, failing to make any sort of impact.
Inisherin in a former Group One winner, with winning form on the track at Haydock. Two poor recent performances are clearly contributing to his lengthy current odds and there's every chance we could see this classy sprinter return to top form on favourably decent ground.
