Willie Mullins has set his sights on the Scottish Grand National, hoping to repeat his Aintree performance where he saddled the top three finishers. With six entries, including the favorite Chosen Witness, Mullins is determined to retain the British Champion Trainer title. Sean O'Keeffe takes the ride on Chosen Witness, with high expectations despite Paul Townend's injury. Ladbrokes lists the odds for Mullins achieving first, second, and third positions as 6/1, marking him as a significant contender. Racing fans eagerly await Mullins' potential triumph this weekend.

Ladbrokes is quoting odds of 6/1 on Willie Mullins to saddle the first three horses home in Saturday's Scottish Grand National.

Mullins achieved this incredible feat seven days ago in the British Grand National at Aintree. Willie's son, Patrick rode Nick Rockett to victory over stablemates I Am Maximus and Grangeclare West.

Macdermott won the feature race of the season at Ayr for Mullins last year, helping Willie win the British Champion Trainer crown for the first time. Mullins is hell bent on retaining that crown this year, and runs six in the 2025 Scottish Grand National.

The favourite is Mullins' novice Chosen Witness, who'll be ridden by Sean O'Keeffe, as Paul Townend is out injured. Fellow novices Olympic Man and Captain Cody sit second and third in the market. Macdermott returns to defend his title. Spanish Harlem and Klarc Kent, sixth and fourth behind Macdermott 12 months ago, also take their place in the field.

Ladbrokes make the trainer 6/1 to repeat last weekend's Aintree feat up in Ayr on Saturday. 5/2 says he takes first and second place, while 4/6 says any of Mullins' six declared runners comes first.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "All eyes are on Willie Mullins this weekend, and the odds suggest he could well clean up for the second weekend in a row."
