2023 Betfair Chase Odds - Bravemansgame odds-on to beat Protektorat
The first Grade One race of the British National Hunt season is set to start at Haydock Park. The first Grade One race of the British National Hunt season will be handed out at Haydock Park on Saturday afternoon. Four top chasers are currently entered for Saturday's main event at Haydock, but it looks likely that a very small field will be declared on Thursday morning.

Protektorat ran out a hugely impressive winner of this Grade One on his reappearance last season and Dan Skelton has again chosen to target the Betfair Chase.
Harry Skelton's mount was been joined at the head of the betting for King George winner Bravemansgame - who'll be ridden by Daryl Jacob, as Harry Cobden has a full book of rides at Ascot - when Paul Nicholls said at the start of the week that he was a runner. After Bravemansgame was confirmed in the field, Jacob's mount was cut into odds-on favouritism.
