2023 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes Entries

The top two three-year-old milers of their generation could clash for the first time on British Champions Day. Aidan O'Brien's Paddington tops the market, having won the Irish 2000 Guineas, St James's Palace Stakes and the Sussex Stakes this season. The bookies make Dermot Weld's filly Tahiyra - winner of the Irish 1000 Guineas, Coronation Stakes and Matron Stakes - a close second-favourite.

Falmouth Stakes winner and recent Irish Champions Stakes third, Nashwa is the highest-placed of the older horses in the market. Inspiral has also been handed an entry, but looks more likely to run in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket.

British 2000 Guineas winner, Chaldean will return to action following a mid-season break. Queen Anne Stakes winner, Triple Time and three-time Group One runner-up in France, Big Rock also feature prominently in the market.

Fellow French raiders Facteur Cheval and Erevann have also been handed Champions Day entries. Other possible runners include Dermot Weld's Homeless Songs, Isaac Shelby for Brian Meehan, Nostrum for Sir Michael Stoute and William Haggas' Aldaary.
